I say the Pacers trade PG to the Clippers for Jordan and a 2021 #1 pick and a 2018 or 2019 #2 pick.

I would love DJ - helps with defense, allows Turner to play more at 4. In hoping the Clippers hear only the part about Paul clamoring to be in LA, and then overpay

George grew up a Clippers fan, not a Lakers fan, so there may be more to this than people think

I would love to see Turner play more 4. It was mentioned by Pritchard in his press conference that he saw Turner as a player that could play both positions, but I don't know how serious the team is about giving him many minutes there. If they do, it will be a change in direction from last year where we heard we might see him playing next to Jefferson but never really did much.

unless we add a 4 to the roster, I think a 3 man rotation of bigs is required. hope the coaches agree.

I'm pretty sure this conversation has already been had between the Pacers and Clippers front offices, and the Pacers had no interest in Jordan. It's not been said explicitly, but reading between the lines, it seems obvious that all the reports about the Clippers trying to get the Suns #4 pick, Drummond, etc. for Jordan, are attempts to get something the Pacers like in exchange for George. Which I don't think will work in the end tbh, but at least we might act as leverage for you guys to get a good package from the Lakers.

It's a pity cause I've wanted to see George in a Clippers uniform since we picked Aminu over him. Not everyday you find a star that happened to grow a Clippers fan in the Sterling era.

Which by the way reminds me, why on earth does him want only the Lakers?? not going to LA in general but to the Lakers, who are one the worst teams of the last half a decade?? do you guys read something into that? does he want to be the man in a big market regardless of team success like Melo, or does it seem like they have actual plans for a superteam there?
