I am not exactly intimately familiar with his game, but I will say this, one thing we've been able to do is player development. If somebody in our organization thinks there is something in him that wasn't able to show in Sacramento because of the environment or coaching situation there, then I say sure go for it.
Good organizations seem to be the ones able to take a questionable player in a bad situation, roll the dice on him, and make him look so productive that it seems like everyone should have been able to see it in him all along. McLemore may or may not be that player, but looking for talent in places others may have missed is one thing we definitely need to be doing right now imo.
