I wasn't able to watch tonight's game, but I'm kind of not disappointed knowing I would have to hear about Paul George this and Paul George that. After so much Paul George hoopla this off season, I'm kind of burnt out on it. I just wanna pay attention to the team we got now.

That said, the Thunder seem like a good team. The parts fit together well on paper and the sheer talent level on the team is sky high. It's disappointing we couldn't come up with a win, but we were missing one of our best players and the whole team is in the process of meshing still.

I was working tonight, was considering watching the game afterwards, but Sabonis being in foul trouble plus the Pacers shooting 33%....I think I'll pass.

They kept it as close as they could, for as long as they could.

Whatever though, onto the next game.

Hey folks, good game. Glad to see Dipo catch fire a bit too, bummer Turner was still hurt though. Good luck and see you next time.

Turner being out just throws the whole team off. Sabonis should never have to guard a guy like Stevens. Unfortunate. Congrats on win! Glad PG wasn't the one who stuck it to us haha.

I have a feeling Oladipo will be the super hot or ice cold kinda guy.

Don't know about the pacers broadcast, but OKC's announcers basically didn't talk about it. George was glued to the bench a lot so that helped. Or maybe they just know how annoying it is to hear about a guy who wanted out all game.

Funny how much we could use a guy like Domas now that we have PG and Melo, we need a kid that will mix it up and not worry if he doesn't get shots up even though he can put them down.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

This team hustles. The half-court defense was decent in the 4th but Patterson and Felton hit big threes. Westbrook dissected us even when our backcourt fought. And Adams showed Domas what a vet does to a young big in the NBA. Roberson was able to hold, push, and manhandle Vic off of screens. He got caught a bunch, but it slowed us down. DC looked to make the difficult pass when the easy pass was there. CoJo showed some toughness but if he isn't hitting his jumper the floor shrinks with Lance out there.

Lance played some tough D tonight. That is the only reason he is in there because offensively he has been a huge disappointment so far. Teams are playing his right hand strongly and it is limiting his passing inside off the hip. Al Jefferson and Bojan were a collective negative in the first half and really didn't give us much in the second half. If Bojan doesn't contribute offensively there really isn't any reason to have him out there. He was careless and hesitant, which is a feat Joe Young is a master at. Speaking of Joe Young. Does he play in China next year?

I'll give this team a compliment. We shot like crap, but they fought their butt off the entire night. This team lacks a lot of things. Effort is not one of them. I can get behind that.

The thing with Lance is that if his shot isn't falling then teams sag way off him and take away his driving lanes and start looking to anticipate his passes. Combine that with losing his pick and roll buddy Sabonis to the starting lineup these last games and it's a recipe for trouble. Him and Jefferson haven't ever really proven a good combo on the court before, either here or in Charlotte, but right now that's kinda our only option for the bench lineup.

I'm not willing to write him off just yet. Let him get in a rhythm shooting and pair him up with Sabonis again and I think that lineup looks a lot better. He seems to be playing decent defense too, and that's a way to impact the game whether or not your shot is falling.

except without GRob, we really don't have another decent option which is the reason Bojan's out there.

It was that big of a deal. He was in foul trouble and was getting outplayed by the guys he was traded for. December 13th will be the real circus.

When I look at the passes Lance throws around, I'd say him and Sabonis have chemistry because Sabonis reads the game and players très bien, has very good hands for a center to catch balls and very quick feet for a center to anticipate where Lance is going to catapult the ball next. If Lance can't connect with Jefferson, it says something about Jefferson, but it also says something about Lance.

If Lance isn't hitting his shots, I wouldn't keep him around. At some point we want to see Sabonis starting games, not making Stephenson look better than he really is.

Al is not a pick and roll big. He can't shoot. He needs shooters around him and only Leaf fits that role. Lance and Joesph are not spot up shooters.

This is why we should have never released Kevin Seraphin. Seraphin and Lance were good friends and had great chemistry on the court. Not to mention Seraphin is a lot better than Jefferson.

I still don't understand the reasoning behind releasing him.
