Didn't see a thread on this. I don't like the All Star game as much as I like the regular season, but it's pretty cool that it will be in Indy. It might be worth a road trip.

A live feed is on the NBA Facebook page.

Congratulations to your city. I didn't think another city announcement would come so quickly after a couple of months maybe after they announced the one for Chicago.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

Really excited for the city to get this opportunity! Indy rocked the Super Bowl and I expect we'll see similar success in this. The interesting thing, of course, is what the players will really think about it. It's sort of a vacation week for them and they're going to want something to do. Indy is not known for the nightlife, at least, not in any good ways when it comes to NBA players (please keep everyone away from Club Rio).

I haven't really been to that many big events outside Indy so I can't compare, but a lot of the media talks about how awesome the city does at the big conventions like GenCon, the NCAA tournament and Final Four games we have had, the Superbowl.

The All-Star Game isn't really about the basketball anyways. It's about the Weekend and the festivities.
