Windhorst lists Pacers as possible landing spot for Isaiah Thomas

There are some options: Brooklyn, Phoenix and Indiana are possibilities, for example, though the Suns already traded Thomas once. It's not inviting, even if Thomas had no injury concerns, which he does with possible degenerative hip issues.

It's nice to see Indiana mentioned, but i would be a hard no on this one, even though it would be a sexy move for the organization. He is a mega talented offensive player but my problem with him would be, age, the money (the article states he wants every penny he can get) and lack of defense from him. I think a player like him can drop productivity much quicker then most because of his injury past and size.

We're one of the teams with the cap room to do such a deal. We've already discussed the wisdom, or lack thereof, at great length.

It's at least refreshing to see the Pacers named as a possible landing spot for a top free agent. Whether or not you would approve of such a move, it's still awesome to see that. We're almost never even in the conversation for top free agents.
