Weird thing he is playing for a big fat next contract. Usually that's the season when guys try harder.

Then again, playing next to Lance in the backcourt is always a special situation

Where do they keep getting these guys? Amazing.

Anyway, sweet victory, beating the Spurs in their home :)

End is good - all is good. Pacers played well, but, I guess, the court was very unfriendly ;) But at the end even the iron rims gave up ;)

I look at the standings and salivate about #3 spot in the East. Couple ifs, and Pacers would be there. Doesn't matter... As long as players and game is improving - future is bright.

I've noticed this trend of no-namers having great games against us. What is going on? Are they being guarded by the same player?

IDK but it seems like every team has one.

Spurs have a lot more players I have never heard of the year before making their rotation, than other teams and they never draft high.

Joe Young has been on the team for 3 years now and hasn't been able to really crack the rotation getting 20 minutes or more only very rarely, though it also depends on who is coaching the team.

Yet again, only 8 players have really played this game. I prefer to see 9 minimum.

Only managed to catch the 2nd half. Team defense looks good

Funny. Defeat Spurs in San Antonio - no biggie. Actually - expected.

The defense in the first quarter by the starters was elite. Switching, rotating, doubling then necessary (perfect scouting job by the Nate and his assistants). Then bench stepped on the court - they just kept the same intensity. Spurs home court iron rims were the sixth player for them. Otherwise Pacers would have had a solid double point lead in the first quarter, with 10+ assists coming from Domas.
Knowing, that Pacers can play defense like that and knowing Pacers offensive firepower - Pacers could be deadly to any NBA team (not named Rockets).
Oh, by the way, Pacers have a hidden gem. They have defensive general on the floor. His name is Domas. The guy is just 21, but he is taking care of the defensive operations like Rommel did in North Africa some time ago ;)

In time it will come. It comes with experience. I'm a veteran sports fan, saw Spurs play last game in Toronto and wrote my version of game winning recipe for the Pacers earlier. I'm glad, that I didn't make fool of myself or jinxed the team ;)
