Next game @ Cleveland. We all know the state of Cavs. Win there would be "interesting", from the Central Division winners point of view.

Bender was drafted mainly on skill-set and potential. He did have a great skill-set for his size along with good athletic tools. He hasn't panned out so far but he's still a 20 year old 6'11 guy that can shoot.

He is 7'1... he needs to find his balls... he is similiar like Myles... big guy who can shot, but has no post play... when he become stronger he will be good player...

You're right that he is 7'1. I thought that the site I was looking at when I posted it said that he is 6'11 but I was wrong.

Bender is nothing like Myles, though. Myles can protect the rim. He is also much more accomplished and stronger.

Suns had 2 top 10 picks in the 2016 draft and neither of them look good. Bender still has some potential but Chriss looks like a bust. They traded up for Chriss but nobody talks about it because the Kings botched the higher pick so badly.

Came out and took care of business. I thought it was a trap game and we avoided the trap. Well done.

Not sure which pick you're talking about here. Chriss was the highest pick involved in that trade. The pick that the Kings got back was used on Georgios Papagiannis who they have barely played in the regular team but has posted good numbers in the G-League.

that's a cautionary tale. it reminds me of what Pritchard was saying after the PG trade about why a high pick wasn't as valuable as a young player who had already demonstrated that he was an NBA level player. the bird in the hand theory if you will.

Bender currentlly cant protect the rim, but he is already very good defender, he can defend smaller players... he needs to became stronger, but he is still young and he has time to develop his play...

Really impressed with Thad Young last night, which makes me wonder.. should the Pacers sell while the stock is high? Not sure what we could get for him, but I'm sure there is a team out there that need him right now. With his player option at the end of the year, we could actually end up with nothing-same exact reason we traded PG. I would like to think that he wants to stay, but you never know, he could be chasing money and the Pacers probably aren't willing to pay him.

Other thoughts: I might be biased a little (because I am a longtime UK fan), but Alex Poythress looked really good in there once again last night. Well, other than one of the worst 3 point shots I've ever seen haha. He plays hard defense and seems to always be in the right spot at the right time on offense. I think that they need to throw him in there more for a quick spark off the bench and not just when they are up 30 points in the 4th quarter.

that would be us. what teams in the East do you think we'd have no chance against in a playoff series? no fair naming teams from the West.

Well as of this moment in time, I think every team in the East is very beatable. The reason for this is because the Celtics, Cavs, and Wizards are all having issues right now-most of them behind closed doors. Toronto is also going to be very tough to beat. My honest opinion is that if the Cavs can get things figured out, it's going to be unlikely we beat them.. they have more talent. We have played the Celtics at home twice and lost both times to them, what will happen when we have to play them in a playoff atmosphere?

As you know, the playoffs are a completely different animal. Most teams and players take it to another level at that point. I just don't see a way that we get to the ECF, but every team is beatable.

Of course that he is different player... Bender is PF, Myles is center... I'm just saying that both of them are good shoters and dont have post play... Myles can protect rim, Bender can defend line... that's similiarity to...

I'd say that this a pretty fair description of the two. For what is worth, I'd love it if there was a way for us to get Bender.

Talks about Oladipo focusing a little more on getting assists, the fairly disappointing 4th quarter, deciding to start Joe Young, and more.
