Great to see. Let him get his legs under him and not destroy his confidence like the Cavs have done with IT.

I would bet we see him get called up post all star break. (Anyone think this is the timeline they were planning all along? )

The Indiana Pacers announced Thursday they have assigned Glenn Robinson III to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the Pacers affiliate in the NBA G-League, as a rehabilitation assignment from his left ankle surgery in October. As a part of his rehab assignment, he will play in today's Mad Ants game against Wisconsin.

The Pacers also assigned Ike Anigbogu to the Mad Ants, and Pacers two-way players Ben Moore and Edmond Sumner are also currently with the Mad Ants.

Great news! Excited to see him get on the court and hopefully FtW allows him to knock the rust off and get up to game speed over the next couple weeks.

Last game before the break - February 14th. No reason in getting him back couple days earlier and endanger months and months of hard work.

Pacers have called GR3 up and he will join the team in Charlotte. Im guessing, if theres garbage time, he will play.

I just noticed the Pacers ruled him out already via twitter so never mind my prediction that he plays in garbage time. lol

This was planned:

http://www.vigilantsports.com/2018/02/01/glenn-robinson-iii-continues-rehab-process-with-game-action-in-g-league/

He plans to fly to Charlotte to meet the Pacers for Friday’s game, then decide if he wants to return to Fort Wayne for another game set for Saturday night.

Yeah, I would expect him to be around the Pacers as often as possible, but still play a couple more games with the Ants to get his conditioning back to game speed. Not to mention his jumper - wasn't he 5/14 yesterday? Hopefully he's able to participate in the Dunk Contest as Vic's teammate.

Takes longer than I thought it would take him to get back.

Watching him play with the Ants he does indeed not look like the player who won the dunk contest.

As if he is scared to put too much pressure on his leg. I hope he completely recovers but you never know. He is one of the last remaining Pacers of the mentally soft era after all.

I hope some team will still pay him what he deserves to get, but until today I have never witnessed anything that makes me believe that the Pacers should be that team.

Good thing they get to see him another 2 months to make the right call on him. Not easy, knowing he is one of the nicest players in the NBA.

I think worst case is that it helps save the legs for guys like Bogdonavic so he can be ready for the playoff run. Best case is that he gives them a really big spark and is able to help them come playoff time. Either way, I see good stuff coming with the return of GR3

Looking forward to seeing him play in this new lineup.

With his hops, ability to hit 3's and defend I'm expecting him to be better utilised and play a bigger part.

Glad to see him back, but I have pretty low expectations.

Every clip I've seen of him he's a lot less explosive and doesn't jump as high as he used to. I think this injury might force him to change his game.

let's hope he was just still not 100 per cent in those clips.
