Moore waived
Pacers waived Ben Moore, who is expected to clear waivers and join up with the Mad Ants. I like that we have managed to get some of the Mad Ant guys a little bit of money and experience here and there. Do you expect the team will do anything with that extra roster spot?

Ants season is starting. They might have told him a month ago that this would happen. I don't remember seeing him active this year.

Yeah, coincides with the end of gleague camp, so probably a decision to slip him through waivers, get him a full camp with the big league team and then put him on the Ants. Likely leave a spot open in case something arises?

The Spurs are not a bad team for him to end up on. They have an eye for talent.

Oh. He’s a perfect fit there for them. He’ll be one of those guys that we say “how’d they do it again?”

wiretap says was 2 way. strange we didn't keep him at that level. have Dougie and Alize have closed the backup wing need.

We chose Davon Reed and Sumner as our 2 ways. We could’ve elevated Sumner and given Moore a 2 way, but I guess we chose not to?

thanks for the reminder. I totally spaced Reed. I looked at a couple of box scores from last week. Reed was starting at 3 but Ben was coming off the bench and scoring more points. Reed is shorter and is listed as a Guard on their roster where Ben was listed as a Forward.
Edit: twitter says Reed was in Indy for shoot around today with Vic out for Jazz game.

This is really dumb. We should've given him Sumner's 2-way. I'm sure Pop is going to do great things with this kid.
