I really don't remember whether it was in the Star or elsewhere. I'm not going to spend a lot of time trying to find it this morning. He practiced yesterday and felt much better but they need to see how it feels today. He needs to get in game shape and when he returns he'll be on a pitch count at first.

pretty sure the initial story said they'd done an MRI. I infer that it didn't indicate a need for surgery NOW from the fact that none has been reported, but perhaps they just decided that playing didn't risk further injury so they could review the situation in the off season. I'm not going to guess about injections as they may just not have talked to the media about such treatment details. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
