I thought Marcus Smart being out would allow us to fare much better offensively.
I was wrong.

Re: Playoffs: 1st round vs. Boston Celtics
Everything fell apart in the second quarter with how the game began to be called. Those two bogus fouls on Thad completely screwed how we were playing and made him a nonfactor in the 2nd half. Our offense in the first half was played off of our defense and we couldn't do that anymore. We're probably the worst halfcourt team in the league without Vic and we didn't even have Thad's postups or movement to help.
Our success is 100% going to hinge on how the game is called. I still think we lose in 5 or 6 anyways, but we'll get completely blown out for 4 games if we get charged with ticky tack fouls like yesterday.
It's been a consistent problem this year with reffing that I don't really recall before in the fact that single games are not called consistently. No one on either teams has any idea what they can do when fouls are called in one quarter and not in the next. And of course there's Chris' pet peeve where they only call fouls if the offensive player misses a shot.

Murray scored 21 p in 4th quarter last night... 4 Nuggets players was 20+... our best scorer was 14... we will lose this in 4 games if we dont improve scoring...

You mean 74 points isn't going to cut it?

Well, yeah, we all agree. But 74 points was also well below our season average and well below our season average against the Celtics. Odds say we’re likely to score around 20 more points a night the rest of the way.
