I agree. Myles' main contribution is as an elite rim protector. He has been doing a pretty good job of that.

I'm not willing to shop Sabonis this summer, but if we have to include him in a deal to get a star caliber player I would do it without hesitation.

Yeah, this is a better way to put it.

Don't shop him around. We don't NEED to move Sabonis in any way, shape, or form. But, if an opportunity comes up, pounce on it.

what do Alex English, Michael Jordan, Kawhi Leonard, and Caris Lavert have in common?

3 young players and a draft pick traded for veterans.

George McGinnis, Tom Owens, George Hill, and Thad Young.

George and Thad certainly contributed but 5 years later???

PG for 2 young players may not look great for OKC in a few years.

Do you really want to add Turner or Sabonis to that list?

Not saying there isn’t. But I don’t have the answer. So curious as to what the answer is supposed to be for a post player that can’t go right is?

supplementing my earlier post, look at what Orlando did trading away young players. also, consider the Fever who spent years giving up picks to try and build around Tamika.

Ideally, Dom and Myles co exist and we have a great long term frontcourt. But Ifthey can’t? And if we can get a long term real piece? Is it worth considering?

Again, not shopping Dom and simply taking the best deal in the summer, but listening to what people would give to get him.
