I don't remember Saric being this bad on defense. Is it him or the culture in Phoenix...or both?

Never been great per se, but he’s one of those guys that the game has gotten harder for as it’s gotten faster and smaller, and the court has spread further with better spacing.

McConnell was huge this game. Same for Warren. Warren even had Booker for a lot of the game. Myles absolutely changed this game with his defense and rim protection. He simply took Ayton completely out of the game, especially mentally, and kept Booker from attacking. Aaron and Lamb had some bad games, though. Aaron’s seemed to be from having to play lead guard with McConnell stepping up in the 2nd half due to Brogdons stitches on the face. Lamb is just having a tough time on both ends right now and seems mentally distant.

Why did Brogdon played only 15 minutes?

Good win. Philly lost, so we are back in fifth.

Had to get stitches in the middle of the game.

Took an elbow from Myles right across the ridge line of his eyebrow and ripped it open something fierce right before halftime. After the stitches, apparently team monitored him for a concussion since it was a hit directly to the head. If he doesn’t enter the concussion protocol today, then he should be good to go.

Well, Brogdon was diagnosed with a concussion. He will miss the GS game.

I'd be surprised if he played in Portland as well.

Sorry, I had it wrong. He hasn’t been diagnosed yet with a concussion, but he is in the concussion protocol, so he’ll miss the game against the Warriors as part of the timeframe. If he exits the protocol without a diagnosed concussion then he could play in Portland.

Pretty safe to still assume he won’t, though, as you asserted.
