This one was bad. We can't be losing games like this especially when the Knicks were down Robinson and then got only a few minutes out of Taj. And we can't be reverting back to not even getting a shot off on crucial 4th quarter plays. At this point, given the injuries and the oddities of this season, this is going to be a rocky year that likely ends in a rather uneventful first round loss. Hell, we've got an outside shot at falling into the lotto (which may not be all that bad honestly).

I'm not ready to put that on Nate though. There's been some concerns, but there's also been encouraging things too. And we all hate the excuse at this point, but we're down 2 starters and swapped key pieces with different skillsets during the season which likely required some changes to the longterm game plan that Nate wants the team to play.

I think we all have to also remember that the entire staff is completely new. Bayno was the only guy remaining from years past and he unfortunately had to leave (another major change that likely seriously impacted Nate's game plan). Burke had been in Indy since 02 and Popeye since 13. It ended up being a complete overhaul. I'm sure both the coaches and players are still learning about each other and how to best maximize the talent.

All that said, this is not a fun team to watch right now.
