So what were they doing during that 6 minute drought?

I kept wondering all through the second half why they were not using Sabonis in the post the way they did the first half. He was owning that area in the first half. Its like Carlisle decided to call off the dogs, so to speak. Makes no sense to me.
What I saw was the Pacers settling for contested perimeter jump shots and not running the offense moving and cutting like in the first half. Also noticed Charlotte was much more aggressive on defense especially Plumlee physically guarding Sabonis unlike the first half. I also thought Carlisle didn’t call time out quick enough to slow their roll and get the Pacers to start running the offense.
At one point it looked like Charlotte had an imaginary force field around the arc allowing only Sabonis to be in the middle and appeared to be in a zone. However it just appeared that way because none of the other Pacers were moving from standing around the arc other than weaving and not penetrating/ running offense. So they had a big lead and got complacent doing one on one shots and turning it over.

If anyone is looking I found the after game presser on YouTube today. Is that where they’re going to appear this year ?

I *think* they are accessible on the Pacers app live, and maybe afterwards, too? In general, the Pacers have not been doing great with multimedia this offseason. Some of their ads have been great, but actually broadcasting their live, real stuff is hit or miss.

Being way out of market I see maybe half the games with Pacers commentators and half from the opponents announcers. Rarely see anything Indy media related.
Last night was Charlotte announcers and I had to chuckle when they were going to break and Sabonis had just scored then I heard one announcer say STUD.
