It was probably “broken” earlier in the summer, and has been healing since. I would imagine it was diagnosed after almost fully healing, and we’ve just waited out the last bit of healing.

It’s the kind of thing that can be a bit bothersome, but nothing crazy in workouts. But once you start taking contact? It could turn into something season long and more painful. Waiting out the last of the healing now gives a much better prognosis for the whole season.

Me too. I think the 5th game was a return goal that obviously was missed due to him not practicing sooner. Really curious how serious this was and if it’s in any way thought to be related to his other medical issues. We’ll find out soon enough.
