Because there's a chance that Cavaliers could slip to 7th-10th on the standings, and then somehow collapse in the play ins

There is a realistic chance that the pick ends up being in the #9-14 slot

Btw, what happens if the pick does not convey?

Do we lose out on the pick completely, or does it just get pushed back another year?

I don't think the Cavs will drop out of the play offs they'd have to have a mass of injuries.

On the pick if it does not convey by 2023 we get 2 2nds, 25 and 26.

I hope we find a way to get Collison to come back and play for us.

LeVert apparently has Pacer foot injury in Cleveland

This hurts Cleveland as they’re going to need everyone healthy to secure the best playoff position.

Proof positive of one reason we had to trade him was his unfortunate high injury risk.

Hopefully the Pacers see this and take this to heart that injury prone players subtract from the best outcome by not being available.

But it must be in the water as both Pacers and Colts have had foot injuries.

Or as old ad said, it's the shoes

As I said Cleveland needs depth and even with Markkanen back tonight they lost to the bottom feeder Pistons.

As long as they don't drop into lottery, Cavs losing helps us

Having Rondo and Brandon Godwin as the only healthy guards can kill you on any given night. Okoro, too, I guess if you think he’s more of a 2 than 3, ideally.

They may have gotten Markkanen back tonight, but they didn’t have Garland. That’s a huge net negative, regardless of Levert.
