Granted Blazers are playing fast, aggressive, and physical but this referee crew is definitely not calling fouls on the Blazers in our paint attempts.

I don't like to blame the refs. The Pacers were soft and sloppy from the very first minute.
Haliburton, Siakam and Turner (although Turner had some sloppy moments too) played very well. Hield shot the 3 ball well and kept the Pacers in it for as long as he could. But team just couldn't overcome the very poor play of Mathurin, Toppin, Smith and Nesmith. And the team couldn't figure out a way to adjust and stop Portland scoring layups with ease on them.
Poor game. Sucks losing to Portland twice. This team is 4-1 vs the Bucks and 0-2 vs Portland.
To be a very good team u gotta be able to beat teams you're supposed to beat. Pacers had gotten better at that but went back to old habits tonight. Schedule isn't friendly for them:
@ Suns
Denver
Philly
Suns
Memphis
@ Boston
Their next 6. 3-3 seems like it would be a big time feat.

Hard to win games with such bench production. Especially if the best Belgian ever is on the opponent bench .

Technically, I'm the best Belgian ever, but I am the best creature earth has ever seen, so I don't need that smaller award.
Not kidding.

Re: Pacers @ Blazers 1/19 10pm
I watched the first half on TV and listened to the second on the radio. Until I watched Tony East's podcast tonight I hadn't realized how well the starters played how poorly the reserves played. It is true that the second unit played heavy minutes the night before when key starters were out. I'm still disappointed.
