The support we, Pacers fans, are getting on this board are overwhelming. I appreciate every thought.

On the other boards and articles, the negatvity outweighs the support. They too have a point though, coming from first hand experiences. But right now, all I want as a loyal Pacers fan is a group of guys I can get drunk with, lots of hugs from people who know how bad I am feeling, and an optimistic Paul George saying he'll come back stronger.

I hope PG has a speedy recovery and I hope he can come over mental aspects that come with a severe injury like this! Such a horrible injury, but I'll be praying for him!

Best wishes, we had some great battles in the past and normally dislike the pacers but hate to see any player go down to injury.

What an unbelievable shame. Would never want this to happen to any player in the league, let alone to a guy with as much promise as PG. Best of luck with the recovery, and godspeed.

Such a shame - he is such a great player. I hope he makes a speedy recovery. I think it would be such a good rivalry with both of us at full strength. Best wishes to PG!

Not wanting to break our hearts some more but I do need an opinion on this. This is reportedly PG's X-ray of his fractured leg. It doesn't look good, and is worse than I expected. :banghead:

Edited:

I have to edit this as someone said it is fake as stated in the comments of the twitter picture. This Xray was taken last February of 2013.

Praying for a speedy recovery for PG. The good thing is he has youth, a SICK work ethic, and an impressive support system on his side (the whole league is rallying around him). He should be able to come back from this pretty strong.

Bulls fan here. Horrible injury to one of the league's brightest stars. We have been there and know all to well the pain you're going through. Our franchises follow the same blueprint and have mirrored each other the past five years.

Thankfully the medical profession has come a long way and I have no doubt PG will return to the player he's developed into. One year might seem like an eternity now but it goes quicker than you think.

You'll be back, Pacer Nation.

Feel really sorry for you guys.

It's bad enough NBA fans get robbed of the chance to watch PG in action but it would be hard for you guys most of all.

Fingers crossed for a speedy and full recovery.

I agree with Brian Hartline - young King George is going to come back stronger. Thankfully he didn't tear anything. The bones will heal stronger and he'll be back doing what he normally did, except probably not playing in Thomas and Mack again.

I was glad to see the support from the fans down at the Fieldhouse today. Seems like George is in a good state of mind, and all we can hope for is to see him on the court again when he's ready.
