I’ve mentioned many times throughout the last 2 seasons that our talent level was lesser than most teams around the league. Evidence is Aaron Holiday, Justin Holiday, Jeremy Lamb, Keelan Martin, Duane Washington, Torrey Craig, Keifer Sykes, Lance Stephenson all not really tearing up the league. Even Doug McDermott seems on the downside of his career with the injury plagued season with the Spurs.

I need to give Rick Carlisle credit for helping Pritchard bring in better talent finally and what appears to be better young potential players. I feel like this roster can be improved with fewer future moves because of the growth potential instead of having to trade fading or lesser talent away to try and find more talent.

I feel our opening day roster is much better than last year. Not sure if he and his staff can coach them up enough (especially defensively) but we’ll see.

Also Bobby Marks tweeted available free agents by position today and I really didn’t see anyone I wanted here.
