I still can't get over how much Minnesota gave up for Rudy. Just doesn't seem right. This just feels like one of those deals where Timberwolves will be a contender, maybe a WCF finalist one time and peak out, and begin a downward spiral and we will look back at this trades as one of the biggest over-payments in a very long time.

I know he gets some numbers, and a lot of press, but I'm just not that high on Donovan Mitchell. Could be my aversion to small guards.

I agree, i think he's highly overrated.

Yeah, I agree. Not sure what the T'Wolves are thinking. It will be interesting to see how that works out.

Here’s what the Twolves are thinking. New GM and the priority was to get a defensive center to play along side of Towns since he wasn’t center material. They paid the hefty price falling victim to the Danny Ainge draft pick hording machine because they wanted to fix this problem now while Kat and Ant are in their prime.

They probably should have gone after Myles harder and wouldn’t have had to pay 2 max players and probably give up less draft capital. I give them credit for having big sack, but I couldn’t have taken this drastic approach.

Weekly I get amused at the journalist’s silly attempts this offseason at putting Pacer players in trades to the Lakers. They have nothing we want and now the rumor they’re pushing is trying to get both Buddy and Myles there

Victor childishly buthurt delusional and lumping himself into PG and Sabonis situations (which both were different exit scenarios).

Now trying to make himself justified for walking from huge $$$ which he’s seeing was a bad business decision.

Thinks he’s doing damage control trying to blame FO for his departure when everyone knows he turned down a huge contract then instigated wanting out while in the bubble.

He’s changed so much since college and not for the good. I lose respect for athletes who lose their values and make bad decisions and want to blame others.

I listened yesterday to the Setting The Pace podcast predicting the Eastern Conference. They both had the Pacers finishing last with less than 25 wins which would have them betting the under. Do you think we're that bad assuming no trades and only a normal amount of injuries. I'm always optimistic in the summer, but I don't see us that bad if Turner is kept all year and stays healthy.

I don't see an option to include a poll perhaps because this isn't the first pick in the topic, but what do you think?

Under 25
25-35
over 35?

I'll go 25-25 with Turner.

Unless injuries derail Cavaliers we’ll get our first round pick this season from them.

The Cavs pick just got more valuable.

I haven’t seen him play a lot but a few games I saw him take over the game and lead them to the win. Most games I saw he wasn’t the superstar #1 option. Not sure if that’s because they have a lot of talent with Gobert, Bogie, Clarkson, and Conley spreading the ball around.

With Cavaliers you’re going to have Mitchell sharing the ball with Garland, Allen, Mobley, and Okoro.

I don't think Mitchell is the superstar number option to lead a team to a title, but I think he gets rhe Cavs out of the lottery for sure.

Absolutely as he has the ability to get hot and take over games. Add in a front court with more experience and I think Cavaliers are a lock for 3-6th position.

How many picks would the Pacers need to take on Gordon Hayward for Myles Turner?

Let's use Westbrook and '27 1st + '29 1st for Turner as the bar... Does Hayward have more value or less value than Westbrook? Or is it about the same because the extra year?
