Jackson was 5/5 from beyond the arc. :o

looks like our hopes for him to be able to play the 4 are coming true. maybe we trade Turner and start Oshae at 4 then come off the bench with Goga and Jackson. if the trade happens in the off season, maybe you move Oshae too, figuring the 8th pick in the draft is a 4.

You know, he looks mobile enough to be able to defend 3 thru 5.

I don’t see a need to get off Oshae at all, though. He’s signed dirt cheap long term. If he sits as your backup or 3rd string PF, that’s fine, too. His ability to also play some 3 adds flexibility and value to him on this roster.

I was saying that based on the draft giving us a 4. I think it's more likely that the draft gives us a W for whom minutes will be easy to find particularly if LeVert is moved and Duarte doesn't need to play any 3.

Still doesn’t matter. Play Oshae at the 3. :dontknow: Hold onto him until you absolutely have to move him. There’s 15 roster spots, so I wouldn’t make a move of dumping a young guy until you have to. I certainly wouldn’t do it at trade deadline based on what the draft might potentially bring. What if you go for TyTy Washington, a PG instead?

That would be what I call a Dwight Freeney move. when the Colts took him, everyone called it a reach but he was the guy the Colts wanted and he sure turned out to be so good that they were right with hindsight not to trade down for an extra pick and hope he'd still be there. at this point, I don't currently see TyTy as worth taking as high as we'll be picking but it is much too early to base in season moves on the assumption that no PGs will be worth a high pick this summer.

However, sitting 10 games below 500 half-way through the season, it is time to stop caring whether a trade would make us a better team this year. this year is lost.

Washington is a top 10 projected guy. He very well might be the top PG in the draft and a 4-7 overall type guy when all is said and done.

He's much lower on Chad Ford's Big Board basically because he has struggled against better opponents. If there is a PG worth taking in the top 10 whether it is Washington or someone else I'll be happy. ranking prospects in January is premature.

Oh. Maybe. But I also haven’t seen Chad Ford reflect reality for many years.

I found Chad reasonable last year but I really liked the Floor and Ceiling reviews on YouTube last year. He hasn't done TyTy yet.

Reasons why I won’t move Oshae Brissett

Cheap - so cheap for a serviceable guy

Motor- he hustles and likes to move

Rebounding- I think he fights hard for them

Attitude- appears to be a positive team player hungry to stay in the NBA

Development- possible he surprises if he works hard on his strength, shot, and defense. I already have seen him improve this year on his finishes when driving to the rim.

It's almost humorous to look at all the nice rankings and performance levels of Taylor - only to then look at the picture and see Ft Wayne is losing the game. That's a letdown.

Saw a Taylor article recently. I think it was an Agness email. Taylor is 6'5" and was center at Austin Peay. He's learning to play wing.

Ft Wayne came back to win that game in OT, despite not leading for a second of regulation.

Amazing how that happens sometimes.
