Re: Mike Brown
Would be a smart choice and Larry Bird could always twist it in a good way to benefit him. He said JOB is staying and firing him now would pretty much show he was wrong and show how he changed his mind or somebody inside the organization changed his mind, but here he could always say they never expected a high caliber head coach such as Mike Brown to be fired.
The question is though, is Brown really that good of a head coach? He wouldn't have a guy named LeBrun James when if he came here.... jus saying.

Re: Mike Brown
He would preach defense and rebounding, both keys to winning games. I think his actual in-game coaching leaves some to be desired, but do I honestly think he'd be an upgrade? Probably.

Re: Mike Brown
Brown is trash. His so called play making was let LBJ ISO. Also I feel LBJ coached more out on the court than Mike Brown did.

I think you could say that ever since Mike Brown left as assistant, the pacers haven't been the same..the brawl might have a little bit to do with that too though.

Re: Mike Brown
If Cleveland fires Brown I say go get him I don't think that Cleveland team would be that easy to coach. Somehow you have to put order to Lebron is going to do whatever he wants. The notion that Rivers out coached Brown is mitigated by Rivers working with a collection of guys who know how to work together. Brown has to deal with the fact that in a 7 game series a superior team will exploit the predictable offense driven by Lebron dominating the ball. Trouble for Brown is he can't change that dynamic because Cleveland keeps Lebron happy by letting him have the ball virtually all the time.
