If you're not an insider, he has Ebanks at 38. With this to say:

Positives:
Athletic forward
Long arms
Good size for his position
Runs the floor well
Good motor
Excellent rebounder
Nice perimeter shot
Gets to the rim
Good basketball IQ
Solid ball handler

Negatives:
Rail thin
Needs to add strength
Lacks confidence
Not super-explosive
Inconsistent from 3-point range

Summary: May 13 Update: Vegas Workout Update Ebanks was very different than the scouting report I had on him. He isn't nearly as long (a 6-foot-9 wingspan) nor is he as explosive athletically as I thought he'd be. He's not a bad athlete; he's just not a freakish one. He also didn't wow me in the individual drills Tuesday.
However, once we got to the 3-on-3 portion Wednesday, he was more skilled and more effective as a scorer than what I saw at West Virginia. Ebanks showed a very good midrange game, attacked the basket and played tough defense.

Ebanks would be a steal at 40.

I should have mentioned in the original post - "nice perimeter shot" is a Pro and "inconsistent from 3-point range" is a Con.
Does that mean the form is good even though the % is poor?

Maybe. He's a good defender, so I'd definitely add him if he's there at #40. My guess is he won't be though.

I don't think there is a chance he'll be available at #25 let alone #40.

yeah, unless he's got some shaky medical situation and falls a la Dejuan Blair, there's no way he gets drafted any worse than like 25.

I feel like everyone is forgetting that GMs aren't all that bright. Sam Young fell out of the first round last year. Mario Chalmers was a 2nd round pick. Paul Millsap, Michael Redd...

Ford's usually pretty on the pulse with where the GMs are with players. If he says 38, he's probably in the right neighborhood.

I just can't see it. There would have to be some serious red flags (that I an unaware of) to make him drop all that way. He's a pretty talented guy.

I don't get the allure with Ebanks. Dude is straight babbage.
He's a track star masquerading as a basketball player.
He'll probably still go late first round, maybe fall to early second, someone will fall in love with him because of his "potential".

I'd take Brackins over Ebanks and Crawford over Brackins.

Could Sheyer play a role similar to what the 'Mayor did for us? 6'5" great stroke, 12th man. If we get the Dallas pick (57) we should snatch him up if he's still available, but he likely won't be.

Worst case scenario Ebanks is probably a rich man's Mbah a Moute, a nice rotational player who defends well...although I think Ebanks is much more polished offensively compared to what Mbah a Moute was coming out.

Disagree. Ebanks has more upside and is a better offensive player than Mbah a Moute currently is.

Ebanks is a terrible basketball player and a head case.
He's not nearly as athletic as advertised and had a disappointing sophomore campaign.
He's up and down.
Low BBIQ.
Has the handle of Shaq.
His outside shot is terrible. Just wretched.
Can't create his own shot.
Very frail.

He has three to four positives.
He's a pretty good and willing passer.
He's good in transition.
He's a solid defender.
Decent rebounder.

I don't get why people like this guy.
He has to immensely improve just to be a medium minute rotation player.
If you're looking for star potential, he doesn't have it and if you're looking for a solid role player/rotation guy for the immediate and future, there are incredibly better options.
