On behalf of PR07, who usually does this stuff:
It's an annual rite of summer.
A day when scrawny kids from California...

...start their roads in becoming NBA Legends.

Where Can't miss prospects...

...become busts.

Where Foreign Surprises Are Born...

Dunk Contest Winners Too...

Sometimes Headaches.

Sometimes Future Stars Fall Into Your Lap...

Where one warm summer night, can change a franchise's entire future...

It's the NBA Draft.

What: 2010 NBA Draft
When: June 24, 2010, ESPN, 7 p.m.-12 a.m. ET
Where: Madison Square Garden, N.Y.
Rounds: Two rounds
Here Are the Rules:
Only one entry allowed per participant
Each Participant Will Try to Predict the Course of the First Round. There are 30 picks.
You can edit your entry as many times as you want until the draft starts.
This thread will be locked by one of the moderators, shortly before 7 P.M. on June 24th. All entries must be submitted before then.
A player can only be used once in your first round predicition.
One point will be awarded for each player correctly placed in the first round.
Example: If you have the Memphis Grizzlies taking Gordon Hayward at #12, and he ends up being taken by the Spurs at #20, then you will still earn one point because you correctly predicted him being taken in the first round regardless of his exact position.
An additional one point will be earned if you correctly place a player at their exact draft position.
Example: If I predict the Wizards taking John Wall at #1, and he indeed goes at this spot, then I earn 2 points. One for correctly placing him in the first round. One for correctly predicting his exact draft position. Easy enough, right?
Even if a team trades their pick, you will still be awarded two points if you correctly predict the player at his actual drafted position.
Example: For instance, if I predict the Pacers taking Epke Udoh at #11, and they trade the pick to the Timberwolves who then take Epke Udoh. I still get two points.
In the event of a tie, the poster who has finalized their entry first, wins.
Example: If Joe Schmoe and myself both score 50 points, the participant who finalized their entry first wins. So, if edited my entry two hours before the draft, and Joe Schmoe edited his 4 days before, Joe Schmoe wins because he finalized his first.
*BONUS*:
-You will earn an additional 5 points (in addition to the 2), if you correctly predict who the Pacers take at #10.
-You will earn an additional 5 points if you correctly predict who the Pacers take at #40.
-You will earn an additional 5 points if you correctly predict who the Pacers take at #57.
