I watched a bunch of highlights of this guy. I think we might see him play the point. He was a pretty good player from what I saw. He killed it in HS in NYC. I think he played out of position at Cincy due to the fact they had Indpls product Deonta Vaughn. Keepin my fingers crossed we get a veteran point though.

I think he could bring scoring to the second unit if he plays point. A lot of times last year when we had our second string we struggled to score points.

i'm all for anybody playing point. this guy isn't really a pg. i watched some of his highlights too. he's got pretty good handle and the ability to penetrate. i even saw some passing ability. but... he's hillarious - he never wants to pass the ball. all the way every time for him. hey, if you're good enough, go for it. but someone's gonna have to get him to pass the ball no matter what position he plays. he's got the scoring down.

He's not a point. Not even close. Nowhere near the mentality, and never has been. He's a scoring SG. Pure and simple. You can move Rush, and let Granger, George, Dunleavy, and Lance handle the wings, or Lance just doesn't make the team and Rush sticks around.

Either way, Lance, George, Granger, Dunleavy, etc, are not point guards. Hell, TJ Ford barely is one.

I also saw highlights of Rolle, and he looks pretty good. He is a defensive minded player but I did see him knock down some outside shots too. I think the Pacers got 3 pretty good players, we will just have to wait and see I guess

I agree here. Another thought to throw on top - Lance is very young and is going to have a very short leash with JOB no matter where he is playing on the court.
