he played PG in high school and college. i think he can definitely be a pg on offense, but does he has the quickness to guard point guards.

stephenson needs in his hands to be effective , he is not a catch and shoot player. he has good court vision , but didnt pass much because he played with scrubs.

does it matter? if he gets a contract, he'll be the best pg on our roster. we need to get behind him!

Do you guys reckon he will get a lot of minutes?
I don't know that much about him.

He is one of the most hyped high school players ever. If he had a decent freshman year at cincy, He probly woulda been a top ten pick.

No.

If he works hard, stays out of trouble, and appears coachable, I'd think he could possibly turn into a heavy rotational SG in a year or two, after Dunleavy expires. That'd leave Granger, George, Dahntay, Rush, and Lance on the wings. That's a decent chance to learn under some smart guys in Granger and Dunleavy, and then try to play his way onto the court.

I think he does get minutes, cuz I don't think Rush is here that much longer.( I'm Hopin) Everyone on this board overvalues Rush like he has consistantly played good. A lot of people post Rush is a piece they don't want to give up because he is young wing. He is a rotational player on an average team, and at his best is a starter on a lottery team. Why not give up Rush to get players that make your team better?

It would be hard to find minutes for 5 wings if the Pacers plan on being a contender in the East in a couple years. Danny would get the bulk of minutes at 3, George at 2 sum at 3. The teams at the top of the league usually play only 3 wings, sometimes maybe 4. Pacers should really think about movin one of those players to bring in more talent at other positions.

Hah. If we could move a wing like Dunleavy or Rush to bring in more talent at other positions, we would've done it months, if not years ago.

Other than Granger, Hibbert, and likely George, we have nothing right now that would tempt a team to give up more talent.

if Stephenson survives camp, his minutes will likely be shooting with the assistant coaches two hours before game time. the smart thing might be to send him to Ft Wayne but we've yet to send anyone to the nbdl figuring that its better to let them work under our coaches.
