....but, just for this year, what about AI at PG for us? Will sell tickets for sure, get exposure for sure. We aren't competiting for anything more than a 6-8 playoff spot, if that, so it's not like we need to be super careful. If he can be had for cheap that might be fun for us fans. Any thoughts?

Well, AI can't be trusted to make a deal, as even though Memphis and Philly apparently spelled out loud and clear what kind of a role he was in for, and AI signed off on that, he then left both teams quickly because he was angry at the role that was set up for him. Add in that he's got some serious personal issues right now taking him away from the game, and the fact that he's never been a PG to begin with, and I just don't see why he'd be the guy.

Give me Farmar. Give me Foye. Give me a guy that will take a one year deal for dirt cheap and not bring a mondo head case attitude around.

I think there is a fit...

I like the idea of a couple of young PGs over AI such as Foye, Farmer, Livingston. But are any of these guys the long term option? If not, why not give AI a one year deal to see what he has left in the tank? I see him as more of a 2 than a 1 but with JOB's style of offense and no defense he fits in well.
