Who is this PG?

18-26 years old.
Good on the ball defender, Hard to drive on.
Coach-able, Plays to our strengths.
Good vision. Pass first guy - but not totally without an offensive game.
Better than any point we have and has a strong chance to improve. Wants to be great.
He's not fragile.
Won't take a top 3 pick to draft him or is not untouchable with his current team. We can get him with a combination of players that does not deplete our stock of young talent, or foul our chemistry.
Give me two names that best fit the profile.

Lance may indeed fit this Windy but I can't tell yet and I think it's a lot of pressure to put on him. Excited about his talent but he may be our starting 2 in a couple years instead, or he may flake out. Give him some time.
The part about being hard to drive on was added because Lance as a defender makes me worried about dribble penetration. If he is a 6'5'' tweener who likes to score then a great match would be a smaller quick distributor that can stay in front of smaller guys.
Jack may fit. Didn't get a feel that he really can run an offense yet and again a smaller quick guy would be best fit for our future if Lance sticks. I am hoping that Lance is the rich mans Jack. Also we can be willing to trade large expirings and half decent pieces. Like to aim high as possible.
Have no idea who the other guys is, sorry.

Haven't seen so much of Brooks. Apparently can score.
Seems good defensively.
Can he really hit the open guy? Will he give it up?
We can maybe snag him as a free agent or sign and trade.
I hear other names of young points. Collison, Bynum, Harris, Flynn..who else, who fits my ideal pacer point. lol how indulgent is that!

I feel AJ looks more like Ashy Larry. Delonte West is a light skinned Beetlejuice.

Conely, wow looked great in high school. Collison showing some promise. smallish, decent Defense. Gaining some confidence. I'd consider him.
Fit the criteria
1.Collison - Getable, Quick, defensively adequate.Has decent passing abilities, meshes well with a bigger point to tag team (lance). Can score. has likely some yet untaped Po.
2. Aaron Brooks - Similar skills. Looks more for his shot?
3. J Jac - fits ok but not a great mesh with lance. Lot mo Po?
4 Conely - Loathe to bet the ranch, or even the wagon. We still hope for the big breakout. Maybe later.
Who else would fit well with a big point/2 guard ?
Which can choke off a drive better?
Which can put the ball in Hibs hands in stride For a dunk?
Which one will not take seventeen Js cause he knows he's gonna heat up?

Good Candidates all
Here's a quick take based on my perusal of the web. I'd Like to hear how they look as compared to their draft hype and stats.
Eric Maynor: Good vision,Great BBall IQ, quick hands, slow feet.
flyweight. Can be prone to turnovers.
Looks like he's listed at 175 now, still scrawny but better. I like 3.3 assists in 15 min p.t. Doesn't score maybe like some of the others but That's not a big priority. Can he keep speedsters in front of him?
Draft profile said hey takes plays off on D. That sucks. Hows his Ceiling look?
Sessions: Less assists (3.2) in 21 min than Maynor had in 15. its just a number but it's noticeable.
How Much upside? Maybe not as great an athlete as some others, and defense not a particular strength.
Beabois. Little bigger than most of these others yet still very quick. Out of nowhere they say and has "all the tools" Real competitor. All sounds good
What's he shown? You got a good feeling that he likely will be a good solid starter? only 1.7 assists per game in 12 min.
Collison: Proven something...so costs more. Pretty good stat line 12.5 pt and 5.7assists in 28 min. Great Quicks. Good Vision and pasing skills. Biggest problem seems to be guarding bigger points. He and Lance Would be a nice rotation.
Brandon Jennings. Big PO apparently. Lots of points but only 3+ assists as a starting point is not quite what I'm looking for unless he's a bargain and I'm guessing he isn't.
Aaron Brooks . HE is small. Played a lot of minutes. Maybe not as good a defender as some of the others. Can certainly score!
Job number one For the point Guard is Exactly that - to guard the point of attack. Which guy will I not be screaming at for letting another squirt blow by him?...Hibb , and the others picking up fouls to cover his lapses.
Job Two For the PG is To Distribute the Rock. We have several guys who can score. DO NOT HOG IT. Show me the magic!
Job three is to do something on the odd occasions that the clocks runnin' down and there is no one else. Don't dribble it out or be scared to show your stuff.
Drive it, Stroke it, something!
Other than that... Hold on to the ball, don't let average guys pick you clean. Know your team mates. Don't let me see your dumb azz on the news at 5 in the am
I'd like a lock Down defender. I'd like a ten or twelve points with out a lot of shots. Six assists +. That's not askin' too much is it?

Mike Conley is sounding about perfect, then.
