Rush Question

Hello Pacer fans, I'm just a Knicks fan looking for some info on Brandon Rush. I see his stats and they look similar to his rookie year. What's the overall feeling you Pacer fans have about him? I would like to get a scouting report if possible and does he look to be part of the future for the Pacers?

i mean he needs to get more aggressive on the offensive end but on defense he is a great defender IMO and should help the pacers for years to come.

If he could play like the did the final few games of his rookie year all the time he will be great

I heard someone else mention it and totally agree that BRush is a really bad fit in Obie's offense. Our offense doesn't really depend on him they just defer to him when they need to. I'd like to see him curling off screens and hustling like Reggie used to, but it seems Obie is fine with him drawing his man to the weak-side and standing on the perimeter.

He shoots an awful FT% for some reason. I don't think his nerves are fully settled. I think his ceiling is Eddie Jones.

Question is, how do we calm his nerves? Does the problem lie with the coaching staff?

I don't think it's his nerves. He never shot better than 78% in college either, even shooting as bad as 68% one year. The weird thing is that he's better than 40% from three. I think it's simply concentration.
As for the JOB system, I agree it's a terrible fit for Brandon. He needs more of a structured offense, and JOB's is organized chaos at best.

Confidence within the system seems like an issue. For the most part, we'd like more production from him.

Hire Mike Brown. Rush would be an all-star.
