Haters? He's ranked 13th out of 30 PF's.


Essentially, he's almost dead middle of the road in terms of starting PF's. He's an average starting PF. I think everybody and their mom can agree on that, and this ranking just embodies it.

did u guys notice how murphy was almost in all of those pictures of rankings 11-20 ? haha. looks like he isnt good at defense because hes behind the player.

Now Murph has atleast one thing in common with LeBron.

Never hated Murphy, he's good but with the kind of team we're building, sending him out is understandable.

Bingo. Same reason why so many (including me) didn't mind another "losing" season as long as it was a really harsh losing season and getting us a very high pick. Some called us "bad fans". Same with Murphy, i like him game, and i really liked him in Indiana and we will have a reality check without him on the boards, i mean, Hibbert was our second best rebounder with just over 5 per and Murphy was at like 11 a game. But, for the better of the team, the trade had to be made and we needed to part ways. It's a business.

That's frickin' ridiculous! Troy Murphy posterized in every single one of those photos it seems!!!

The guy that's putting these rankings together has been doing this with each position. For PGs, every picture featured Ty Lawson getting burned, OJ Mayo had his turn for the SGs, I saw LeBron getting picked on at the SF position. I don't know how he picks who to choose or whether these things just sort of come together after he looks at a few action shots and sees one guy crop up in a few of them.

This is beyond coincidence.. Can't believe it. What the hell??!

I don't hate Murphy by any means. I thought he was a solid double-double guy especially his last couple years here, even if he couldn't guard a brick wall. To me, the only way the Collison deal would've been better is if we could've unloaded Mike Dunleavy instead. Nothing against him, but we have a ton of 2/3 combo guys now (Granger, George, Posey, Dunleavy, Rush-kind of). He had a similar contract to Murphy's and wouldn't have left us a big hole at PF. If only that were to happen, that would've made the Collison deal that much sweeter.

Murph was good to us when we looked at the box score. When I watched him play, he wasn't so good for us.

I don't hate Murphy.
