Earl Barron....

After reading up on that this guy is likely not to return to the Knicks this season I got curious as to why, then I looked at the guys stat line.
Playing in only 7 games, starting six, averages 32 minutes a game and grabbed 12 pts, 11 reb on the average of those games.
His stat line in the NBDL last year was 16 points and 11 reb.
Why nobody has signed him is beyond me. I'd say a guaranteed year at the NBA minimum or even as high as the veteran's exception would suffice.

I hope that changes. We need to buyout Solo and trade Dunleavy.

We need to trade Ford before we trade anyone

No, we need to keep him incase Lance gets suspended or atleast until AJ comes back.

If they do get rid of Ford, they can always get another point guard in a deal or re-sign Earl Watson....

If we resign Watson, we are right back to where we were before. Watson coming back is a NO.

Why keep someone in Ford who cant do anything with Obie as a coach? Like mentioned previous on another thread, we could play Dunleavy as a point forward, or there has to be better option, cheaper to than Ford or Watson

OMG that is classic. You forgot about Collison? The biggest story of the Pacers offseason? Wow.

While Watson isn't a playmaker offensively, he at least takes care of the ball and makes smart decisions. He's actually a fairly good defender too on most nights. There's no need to bring him back though, TJ Ford is a more than adequate backup PG.

Earl is way too slow to guard point guards. He was getting blown by almost every play, a big reason Roy was gettin into foul trouble, guard penetration. Earl was a decent playmaker, but he has a terible shot selection.
