Figured this was worthy of it's own thread. I like it. Keep close contact with him, support from and help him as much as possible, but, keep him as far away from the club for now. I think the Pacers are doing the right things and i do think, even if he is guilty, theres a chance he remains on the team.
From Mike Wells' twitter-
Stephenson is working out with asst. coaches at different facility in Indy and also getting counseling help.
Pacers taking strong stance with Lance Stephenson. He hasn't been permitted to workout at Conseco since his alleged incident last month.

I hope some of the vets are keeping in touch with him like Posey.
Any idea on when a court date is or anything like that?

I believe the court date is in mid October.
Allegations this serious merit exactly what the Pacers are doing.

sounds like we're setting up to dump him. if the plan were to make this a turning point in the kid's life, you'd want him under your nose.

Problem is that we won't know a verdict for months yet. Keep in mind, his arrainment just happened. I don't think the trial begins until long after October 19th, the day of his hearing.

Yeah, sounds like Stephenson doesn't have a future with the Pacers and probably not with the league either

The Pacers have Clark Kellogg working with Stephenson. I don't know, maybe you guys are right about his days being numbered, and maybe they are waiting for the courts to figure things out and Indy try to get out of the contract somehow so they don't have to pay for a felon, but i still see him being a Pacer. I think the Pacers knew what they were doing when they took the risk and they will stand by him for now and pray he doesn't mess up again.
