The starters actually looked good early. Pretty good ball movement building a decent lead in the first quarter. The second half was a totally different story. Ball movement was pretty much non existant and Orlando built a nice lead.

Granger has got to be better than he was tonight. His shooting percentage wasn't as bad as it was at Memphis but he was still inefficient. He was generally guarding Carter when he went of from the three point line. As it has been noted from many sites Granger needs to improve defensively.

Hibbert and Collison were about what I expected. Hibbert looked leaner, quicker and a lot more confident. Collison is fast, has a nice looking shot and defends aggressively. I would have liked to see him assist more.

I have to remind myself that Howard, Nelson and Lewis have multiple years together while Hibbert, Collison and Granger only have the benefit of a couple weeks. I don't think its a wild stretch to think our big three could one day be as effective as Orlando's.

For no more than he's been able to play in the last year Tyler Hansbrough looked pretty good. McRoberts didn't play much but from the little I saw he looks better as a rebounder and defender. I'm not sure we have a remarkable weakness at power forward.

Paul George struggled. Lance Stephenson wasn't as bad defensively as I was expecting and off the dribble his combination of strength, quickness and savy is remarkable.

I only caught about 3 minutes in the 4th quarter. I don't know how his passing was, but I didn't like Collison's assist numbers. Nobody was finding open shooters with not a single Pacer over 2 assists.

The Price is right, though. As an offensive sparkplug off the bench, he could be very useful.

^^^ A Pacers.com wrap-up about the game mentioned that Collison's assist number were part him having an off-night passing-wise but also due to teammates missing open shots. The team only shot 36% as a whole. Hopefully those kinks will be worked out in the coming weeks.

I feel like Granger always struggles in preseason, might just be playing through games. His game definitely needs to improve come regular season though... goal should be 2nd All-Star appearance.

Goal should be NBA 3rd team. Hard to get on with Durant and Lebron and Melo, but he should make a strong statement.

A friend of mine caught the game. Said Hibbert looked really good going up against Howard. This makes me smile.

I took noticed first time when howard was getting outplayed by roy hibbert on pre season (then later finding out roy hibbert outplayed howard in 1/5/10 game having 26 points over DPOY in dwight howard :o )...This is scary for my team (orlando magic). You guys really have good Center that can have a break through this year, and have many great years to come. He had 14 rebounds 17 points 7 blocks!!! thats just crazy, and he was up against wolves star Kevin Love...Yea i am taking notice of indiana pacers as a team and hopefully you guys be a top 5 in no time, and hopefully built a riverly between howard vs hibbert in years to come (not that andrew vs howard) because really he is the only center besides bogut that i am starting to fear in terms of giving match up problems in a position that i feel the magic always have advantage on, and that is Center position.
