Idk if saleries work cause the trade checker keeps crapping out but Id do it! Reggie Evans is a free agent after next year so we get like $5 million more in cap space, gets rid of Rush who may never amount to anything. New York would totally win on this one to, they give up basically nothing and get Jones who plays D and Rudy has potential

After what he did to Kaman I don't think I want Evans

It has looked like Dahntay Jones would be the odd man out of the SG shuffle. It'll be interesting to see if the Pacers will find any takers for the Jones' Bros.

Their trade value is zilch.

If by some chance another team is mildly interested in either Jones, they'll just wait two weeks to see if they can get him essentially for free. Because the Pacers are going to have to cut someone before the season starts. They can't keep 16 guys under contract.

Yeah, my guess is Solomon Jones just ends up getting waived.

I don't think Solo will be waived, though, since we are already lack of back up big man.

I think in the worst senario, Dahntay Jones will be traded to Houston or Dallas for trade exception and a 2nd round pick in return.

Both the Rockets and Mavs are playoffs team, which would like to have Dahntay, a cheap solid defender.

Back to the double Jones package, the Pacers may target at some back-up big guy, whose contract shall under 5 million this season, such as Bass from the Magic, Humphries from the Nets, Pekovic from the T-Wolves.

I think we'd love to get a 2nd rounder from a team with cap room or a trade exemption for D Jones. we'd probably throw in cash.

Here's a amusing thought, let's trade Dahntay to the Celtics for Quis!

Then waive him. 8-)

Nothing, if you want a veteran defensive specialist. But the Pacers don't figure to give him much playing time, so it would make sense to trade him.

Why not offer Mike D? Since he is a expire, maybe the Pacers could get a better PF with him

Mike D can play. unless Rush shows consistency, look for a three man wing rotation with Mike, Danny, and Paul. if next summer Mike's market value drops to the MLE, I wouldn't at all mind resigning him.

^^I agree. He's a solid 3rd guy. I would look into signing a swingman with some D in him as the 3rd guy, though. Prince is an outside possibility, along with AK47. Battier and Azubuike are also coming off the books.
