.....For the post season.
Pacers forward Danny Granger expects the team's playoff drought to end this season.

Indiana added point guard Darren Collison in a four-team trade involving Troy Murphy this summer.

"Overall expectation is we should be a playoff team this year," Granger said during an appearance on 1070 The Fan.

"We have the pieces and although we are young we still have the ability to do better than what we have done in the past years. As long as everybody stays healthy and we make a commitment defensively we should have a pretty good year."

he is also not on the team flight to Minny because he was pulled over by a police officer for having expired license plates and got his car towed....

Considering all of the driving offenses out there surrounding pro athletes, this is a sigh of relief.

Of course though...I'm going to the Minny game tomorrow and he won't even be there. I figured they would take a team bus or something to the airport. Go figure.

That's one of those things that could happen to anybody. You are doing everything else and your license plates are expired before you know it.

haha i know - I did not mean it is an insult to Granger or criticism of him in anyway. I just follow him on twitter, and so it was funny to be reading real-time as he complained that he was now stranded on the highway.
