Didnt listen or see it but just saw the box score and quite impressive even if it was against the Wolves

Hibberts line was monster, Mike Jr played well, Paul George seems to have found his stroke to :)

According to one of Minnesota's commentators Jeff George is now a Pacer.

Hahaha! Nice! Now only if he was Peyton Manning's backup we'd be set! lmao

I caught most of the 3rd. I am excited for Indiana to play good basketball, because it is long overdue.

Yeah, definitely. The area and the fans deserve more. I just think they still have too many holes to compete. I think between 35-41 wins will be enough for one of the final two playoff spots, but i am not so sure the Pacers will get to that mark. A lot has to go right for the Pacers to get 35 wins i think.

I'm still not sold on Josh McRoberts at PF. It's only pre-season, but some nights he looks like he belongs, and others, like he shouldn't even be in the NBA. As a full-time starter, he will face all the other starters for majority of the games.

I am also worried about our depth. Not sure our bench can get it done each night and if somebody from starting lineup does get injured, i think we will be in major trouble.

I was at this one. Roy had a monster game and even though I knew he was working out with Bill Walton all summer, this was the first time I'd gotten a glimpse of it. He does look quicker on his feet and 16 rebounds were part of that, being quick to the ball.

Posey looked good and I'm hoping that George's game is a glimpse of what's to come. I would have no problem him being the first guy off the bench. I'm also liking A.J. Price again, especially so soon after his injury. Hopefully Collison's shot starts falling, but 9 assists with irregular rotations and the best offensive player (Granger) out? Nice! The Pacers could obviously put up points already, but at least Collison knew what the team needed tonight. He was 2-7, but his shot wasn't falling, he didn't force it, and helped facilitate the offense. And the more comfortable he gets in the system, the scarier he'll be.

Turnovers need attention though. 20-ish is not good.

Both teams looked sloppy out there. Luckily the standouts for the Pacers were guys whose success are closely tied to that of the Pacers'. Solo and Rush didn't look particularly good out there.

Where was the defense?

I hope that Roy is more regular in his play this year, he is very necessary with Troy out. It is important that Paul has confidence in himself, Darren too. When Darren is accustomed to the system, we will hope to see the best him

I don't like to read too much into +/-, but Hansbrough was +14 to McBob's -11, and Solo's -4. If McRoberts starts, I don't think he'll be ceding lots of minutes to Tyler.

McRoberts was in while Love in Koufos were in. Hansbrough was in while Pekovic and Tolliver were in. See a difference?

Sound logic, except Hansbrough played about half and half against both units. Same with McBob. It's not like the NFL where both teams play the 1st string, 2nd string, then the 3rd against the other team's respective strings. Both teams played starters in the 2nd half for extended minutes, so Hansbrough was on the court at the same time Love was.

Also, your argument doesn't account for the fact that Solo, who's the C off the bench with Hansbrough as his counterpart at the 4, ended up with worse +/-. It's not as cut and dried as Hansbrough played against the 2nd unit of Minny while McBob played the 1st unit.
