Jason Thompson

Anybody going to be keeping a special eye on him during this game?
Just his second start of the year apparently but when he's actually gotten the minutes, he's done fairly well. With the pending lockout, that might make it tougher to sign certain guys mentioned frequently on this board - David West and Nene - who (I think) would both have to opt out of their contracts to be UFA's, which if there is a lockout likely won't happen. So Thompson becomes more likely via a trade.
There was the blurb on the RealGM wiretap about Sacramento needing a PG, which automatically points to TJ Ford. Considering Sacramento's logjam consisting of Dalembert, Greene, Whiteside, Landry, Cousins, Thompson is believed to be the most expendable (although hopefully Cousins doesn't leapfrog him in that department thanks to his A-hole attitude.)
I don't think I've ever watched him play in real-time, so it will be interesting to see how he does, especially considering his "eh" matchup against McBob/Hansbrough/Solo.
