Meaning of Bulls game?

Yeah, we're not going to be able to catch them, i'm not even going to lie to myself and say we can. Last time we played, we lost to them but without Danny Granger and at the United Center. I do believe the Pacers have made many strides this season and actually remind me of the Bulls team of a year ago. I think we are one year away from being able to say we are in the mix for the division. Bulls last year finished 41-41... but needed a very strong finish at the end of the season to finish .500. I think the Pacers could finish .500 as well. But, showing signs of improvement is one thing, but, beating superior teams is another. Not just for confidence for now but for the future.
I think beating teams such as Boston, Miami, and Chicago, go a long way. Same reason as why many believe that making the playoffs would be great, even if they lose in 5 games to get that experience of it.
So does anybody think tomorrow nights game vs. Chicago is a statement game for the Pacers?
