If income tax is the factor: Pacers is 8th best!!!

I checked different state incomes for NBA teams and found Indiana is the fourth best state to play for.
The only two states that have no income tax at all: Texas (Mavs, Rockets, and Spurs) and Florida (Orlando and Miami).
Then you got the rest: Illinois (Chicago (3%)), Pennsylvaia (Philly (3.07%)), and then Indiana (3.4%), with Michigan (Detroit (4.35%)) behind us.
So I question highly that we can't land competitive veterans and get some quality players in here come 2011. Less then a handful of teams can offer the money we do and most of those will be commited to signing their own.
