once again the season is slipping away and noone on the team is capable of doing anything
if granger was a real leader he would step up and do something instead of making excuses
its gut check time for the pacers and its these next 2-3 weeks that will define this season
For once lets get over the hump!!

Yep.
The next stretch is huge. A couple of tough games in there, but a lot of winnable games out of the next 10 or so. We have Orlando, Miami twice, Chicago, and Portland, but otherwise have New Jersey twice, Toronto, Cleveland, Charlotte, Minnesota, Milwaukee, and Detroit until the All-Star break, and then pick back up after the ASG with Washington and Detroit. Some very winnable games, some of them against other teams we'll likely be fighting with for that 8th spot (Detroit, Charlotte, Toronto, and Milwaukee are all within I think 3 games or so of us.)
I said this in the GDT, but it's hard to believe that we're a team who beat the Heat in Miami, the Lakers in LA, and hung tough with Orlando, Boston, San Antonio, Atlanta, Utah, and New York, yet we're halfway through the season and mathematically on pace to match last year's atrocious 32 wins.

Yeah, our season is pretty much in the dumpster now. They will remain in the "hunt" for a while, mainly because 6-12 in the east is so terrible. The Knicks who are in 6th are playing terrible ball right now. Milwaukee, who is behind us though, will get on winning soon when Brandon Jennings returns.
It's hard to beg too much on Granger though. He is not a #1 guy and the team is very young and inexperienced. Not many on this roster (including Granger) have never been in a big moment at the NBA level (Posey has)... inexperience is a killer, among lack of talent, depth, and bad coaching.

Same thing as always. It's called Pacers syndrome.

Can't wait to see who we draft with #14.

Maybe we can luck into the top 3 and draft another Steve Stipanovich.

^^ I wouldn't mind Bojan at all. He looks legit. Not sure what kind of plans he has about coming over, but if we knew he'd be coming over for sure, that may not be that bad of a pick. Especially for a weak draft class.
And we all know Bird loves Euros... and Kevin Pritchard loves Euros as well.

I tend not to watch the road games other than a minute or two here and there. anyone see a connection between the losing streak and TJ no longer getting minutes? PG is getting more minutes too. personally I'd rather play the young-ins and lose then limp into the playoffs.

Not to mention he fits the stereotype that indy loves white guys.

They like good basketball players, which happened to be several white guys. But, even last years draft they had 3 picks and didn't even pick one... then added Posey and Collison in a trade.

If we draft Jimmer Fredette I quit.
