Paul George's 3 Point Shot

He went 0 for 3 today, and his 3% has been pretty bad this season. He's streaky from that distance with his makes tending to cluster in games. I'm actually pretty optimistic about this though because his mid-range, and deep 2 shots are going in. I think he just hasn't developed the NBA range yet. I think he dedicates himself to that this offseason and look out. I'm liking the overall game he's showing in extended minutes.

Like you, I'm not worried yet. Some of the better players in the league had trouble adjusting to the NBA 3-point range - such as LeBron, Wade, Derrick Rose, and somebody else good who I'm blanking on right now. He's already shown the ability to hit it, it's just about repetition. And who knows, perhaps...perhaps...some of that mental shake from JOB's comments have lingered.
I think he'll be fine. I'm very excited about his potential.

I would rather him struggle early and learn how to attack the basket, bet to the line and score easy points. He has the range and the % will increase...but in the mean time, let's allow him to make the most of it.

Keep in mind, the guy is 20 years old in his first year in the NBA. It's pretty safe to assume that his shooting will get better.

Two words: Sample. Size.
He's played half a season and taken fewer than 100 NBA 3-pointers. Way too soon to draw any conclusions.
