Good for him. He seemed like he had something to contribute. I like how JOB was quoted as saying he was one of the best players in camp and then gave him about 5 minutes a game during the preseason. If Rolle is available this offseason, let's let a coach with some intelligence take a look at him.

No. He is by all means a PF/C, at least from what we've seen. He lacks polish and size, but his frame is better than, say, Anthony Randolph's.

He's a mobile big man, maybe better suited as a full-time pf and an occasional center.
I can remember O'Brien compares him to Tyrus Thomas back in the summer league.
He's not that athletic but his timing is superb, that's how he gets blocks and rebounds.
I think he's in the same mold as a Danny Manning, past-prime with his smooth mid-range jumper.

It was unfortunate that we were unable to trim our roster to make room for him.

I don't know what Rolle's contract is, but in a way, I hope he doesn't see much run in Atlanta. They'll release him and then we can take another look.

Yeah, I guess I seen his small frame in highlights and thought about SF, but now I see him as a Robert Parrish type guy with Danny Manning stroke, if he gets to about 240 with some muscle. He is signed for 2 years and looks to be a long term project now. He will definitely be on the roster over current end of the bench guys.

He's overrated on this board.

I like the name though, but severely overrated. 12th man at best.

I believe the prevailing wisdom was the he should have been the 15th man on the roster. Hard to be overrated in that manner.


But yeah, I'm with Miller. Spit some ideas out and make some comments that don't simply revolve around an attempt to take a dump on the fandom of the rest of the board.

You can't guess what I think of him based off that post? He's not that good yet people on these boards were all yiddy about him over what he did in the summer league.

Does that post imply that the whole board is in the magnum rolle fan club? Idk where you were going with that one...more often than not, people on this board thought Rolle was better than he ended up being, hence he's overrated on this board.
