so because it's not the hardest foul rose has endured, it's not that big of a deal? that's terrible logic. i agree that the foul on deng was worse btw.
i guarantee if omer asik had committed these fouls against darren collison and danny granger this board would be in an uproar. as a bulls fan, i wouldn't be able to defend it. a dirty play is a a dirty play and foster committed two of them in the last game.
this isn't an mma fight, it's basketball. don't give me this "it's the playoffs" bull. does that give players the right to advertently try and hurt people?
For someone complaining about my logic, you sure didn't respond to my post logically... Your post was actually intellectually offensive... Sigh... Saying that the foul wasn't a big deal and saying that it wasn't the biggest foul rose would get during this playoffs were two separate thoughts. Do I really need to break this down for you?
I felt that the foul on Rose was not that big of a deal because I felt the contact to the upper body was incidental and not done in a way to injure rose. But rather done in a way to stop an easy lay-up with a play made on the ball. If you disagree with that, that's fine, but no where in my post did I say that his foul was okay because there would be worse fouls later on...
My comment that you will see harder fouls was a separate thought to state that, well, you will see harder fouls. It was in no way the justification of the previous statement, as I have stated earlier. Based on your reaction to what I feel was not a bad foul, I just worry about the reaction of fans, such as your self, when you see an actual bad foul.
Lastly, your guarantee that a similar foul would cause me as a Pacer fan to go berserk is wrong. You realize the foul on Tyler sent him out of the game and caused him to barely be able to walk right? Did you see me post anything about that foul? Please keep the word logic out of your future posts if they are similar to your past one...
i'm loling at the rhetoric in this post. do you try to be
NO PERSONAL ATTACKS -PR07 when you post?
i don't know what about my response was difficult for you to understand, so i'll try again.
I don't feel that the elbow was intentionally to the head. Rose had the ball very close to his head and neck.
the ball was around his waist and anyone with eyes could tell you that foster was NOT making a play on the ball. he stuck out his elbow in an obvious attempt to hurt rose and discourage him from going to the basket. to reiterate, i have NO problem with enforcing the paint, but there's a proper way to do it and elbowing guys in the head is not it.
I've said it 1000 times, but if you think Foster is the hardest foul Rose gets this year, I feel really bad for you. You will see harder.
whats your point? i'm just going to quote myself from my last post

you're saying that foster may have fouled rose hard, but that it isn't the hardest foul he's going to see. that doesn't make the foul not dirty, it just means that jeff foster isn't the dirtiest player in the league. it's still an obvious attempt to injure someone even if other players are more extreme.
You realize the foul on Tyler sent him out of the game and caused him to barely be able to walk right? Did you see me post anything about that foul?
completely different situation. both of them were going for a rebound and thomas inadvertently hit hansbrough with an elbow. it's an obvious foul, sure, and i bet it hurt a lot, but sometimes there's contact when two guys are hustling for a rebound. completely different situation from foster sticking his elbow out, or following through with his elbow on what was already a foul (on deng).
now, try responding to my post without being a total dick. pretty unclassy and it just makes you look bitter.
