Any way we could work Rich Cho into the front office?

Saw he was fired by Portland today (for whatever reason), less than a year after he was hired. He basically stole Wallace from the Bobcats and apparently gained a lot of respect in OKC with his understanding of stats, numbers, and salaries.

Any way we could fit him in as an assistant GM or something? Not sure he'd be willing to take a step back like that, but just curious.

Considering they kept talking about Cho and Portland "not being a good match," it makes you wonder if he butted heads with management or something.

Only way to fit him in is to boot someone out.

Morway would probably need to be hired elsewhere as the #1 guy.

didn't Cho stick his foot in his mouth a few days ago?

He didn't like Brandon Roy's comments and wanted him suspended... http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entr ... 4/29511007

Guy got fired less than one year after being hired as the GM. Does anyone remember the last time a guy worked as GM without going through a single NBA draft process, nor running a single Draft prospect workout?
