I was playing this kid on NBA 2k11 and he was pretty good. I'd like to know what Pacer fans think of him and his future. Thanks.

He is a slightly small 4. He'd be a great first big off the bench but - has enough game that it's not easy to acquire his better.
He is a pretty good all around player who is smart and determined enough that you should see his improvement continue.
He is a guy the home town will love and the opposition hate. I think he should have a good career, the type of player any team could use. He could end up being as productive as guys like Louis Scola, David Lee, or Carl Landry.
He should always play on a team of strong rebounders that have someone else to lock down tall, scoring PFs.

best case: David Lee. this was really his first year because of an injury the prior one. his future depends upon what he can add to his game. he's good a good mid-range shot and a very effective right handed baby hook shot in close. his energy level is high. he's relentless. he has very strong hands and is able to hold onto rebounds and get the ball back up against lots of contact. he needs to develop his left hand and learn other inside moves to use when bigger defenders take away his go to move.

When defenses focus on him, he disappears. The energy level is really high compared to most of his counterparts though and thats why he'll stick for awhile.

He's the kind of player that will give you 15 points and 8 rebounds before he breaks 20 minutes a night playing. Get a quality upgrade on the wings, and you can see those stats jump to 20-10 in little to no time at all.

Had a short rookie season because of dizziness... Something about his ear.
This year he was healthy and moved into the lineup around February (when we changed our coach)
He's known around the league because of his really successful college career.

The good:
- Decent mid-range jumper, though streaky. Once he starts knocking them down he usually goes 20-30 points
- He's really tough, not afraid of contract on both ends
- Gets hustle points.
- Good free throw shooter

The bad:
- Not a good defender. He's willing to play defense, and he's tough, but he still needs to improve
- Currently one-dimensional on offense. He has one go to move: Mid range. No post game.
- Isn't quite the rebounder he should be, yet.

He's somewhere between David Lee and David West. Next year, I see him at around 13/14 ppg with 7 rpg or so. His peak could be around 17 ppg, maybe more if he takes more shots.

I don't know what the organization think of him, but personally I don't really see him as a core guy. I like him a lot and I want to keep him, but he isn't good enough to be a short-term solution and might be too old (26 when next season starts) to be a long-term solution.
He's not a bad player at all, but if I get to pick one spot we need to upgrade on our starting 5, it will be the PF spot. Collison, George and Hibbert are younger and still improving, Granger is our best player. Only one spot left...

^^^ On the 'Good portion of your post you mentioned that he was a good free throw shooter. I'd like to add that he gets to the line quite a bit.

Nice analysis.

He is a beast in 2K11..

And I think he will be a darn solid player in the NBA.
