From Atlanta? Al Horford. There's really nothing else there I'd be interested in moving Hibbert for.
If we move Hibbert, we need another starting caliber C in return. Horford's the only one you got, and the only guy you have that is around the right age, talent, attitude, etc for the Pacers.

Lol @ indy...there's no deal to b had between us and the hawks really..bcuz we value hibbert pretty high as he's a rare breed..and if we traded him to the hawks to fill their need of a legit center we would be creating the need of a legit center for ourselves..only way hibbert is moved is if he's part of a package to bring back a center better than he is..or for a big time superstar at a diff position
jnzook's favorite player depth chart:
Deron Williams/Kyrie Irving/George Hill
Paul George/Jeremy Lamb
LeBron James/Danny Granger/Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Dirk Nowitzki/David West
Roy Hibbert/DeMarcus Cousins

Only a Horford Package would be considered.

@ATLboy
Hibbert is not the defensive center we're looking for. Horford puts monster numbers on him. Just not fast enough and "bird-chested" whereas Horford is stocky and compact.
Also we need another forward to remove Marvin from the starting lineup.

It would have to be Al Horford but why would either team do this, I think Horford is at his peak as good as he as he is gonna be, but Hibbert could still get better and ultimately be the better player. I would say sorry unless you''re gonna Wow me we'll keep our guy.

Scoot...don't underestimate Hibbert....and if you DO...send him to GSW.
Of course...now that I live in Cincy...I'm gonna have to get some attachment to the Pacers. The most local team.
Always liked Granger, Hibbert,Hansborough....3 guys on my list for GSW to draft. Indy is closer than you think. They still need a G who can score big.
CENSORED... No comment.

good call.
Hibbert works at his game, but has nearly peaked at what his physical stuff can do. Horford is limited by being-basically-a 6-10 PF who's always played C.
The Pacers are okay up front and need to get the backcourt upgraded, fill in the depth.

Hibbert today said he was putting on 15 pounds of muscle this offseason. He's tryin to completely change his body. He came into the league as a slow, pretty unathletic 7'2 278lbs skilled offensive big. When basketball starts back up he'll be a 270 pound agile center who can bang down low, create offense for himself and others on the block, and anchor our D as one of the top shot blockers in the league. Hopefully he can improve his rebounding. He's at 9.8 rebounds PER36. He should be at 11.5 or 12. I think Paul George can more than hold his own in scoring and if we draft Marshon Brooks that will only help provide more scoring from the back court.

Every offseason thus far he's either gained or lost 15 pounds to add strength or to add speed and flexibility. I just don't like the whole "this guy's adding weight this offseason so he's going to be awesome!". I'm a big college football fan and I always hear it about my favorite team, and in the end, I just have to see how it effects them in the game.

Am I underestimating Hibbert? I don't think I am. I just think VERY highly of Al Horford.

From year 1 to year 2 he didn't improve much physically. From year 2 to year 3 he made a major improvement physically. After losing 23 pounds, mostly body fat, you could tell he was much quicker and it helped him make a major improvement on the defensive end. He suffered some offensively tho. He had trouble gaining position on the offensive end. It might have hurt his rebounding too. I think he can and will add 15 pounds of muscle this offseason. And when the season starts back up, we'll see more major improvements in all 3 areas. Offense, defense, and rebounding.

First of all I just wanna say sry I haven't been able to comment or reply but this is the first time I've had access to internet in days. Anyways I just think your underestimating Horford, he's 25 and going into his prime he isn't anywhere near peaking. Al is off limits because one of the main reasons we need a center is so he can play his natural PF position. But thank u for your time

Well then what are you offering Josh Smith? If we are trading our Center we're gonna need a bigman in the deal and Josh while a good player Is not a Center, Zaza is not gonna get it done make an offer so we can see what you have in mind.
