Charlotte-Sacramento-Milwaukee Effects

Post#1 » by PacerRays07 » Thu Jun 23, 2011 8:42 pm

How will the Bobcats-Kings-Bucks trade effect the Pacers pick at 15? I know that the Bobcats were taking Marcus Morris on most boards.

I think this trade is about as even as it could of been. Kings may feel better about drafting Jimmer at 10 then at 7 now though. Bucks fall behind you though which increases your chances of landing a shooting guard you like such as Klay, Burks and Brooks.

O yeah. The 2 players I don't want are going 10 and 11. Take your non-D playin bleeps to the west coast Jimmer and Klay.

if trading for the 19 was something we hoped to do, this may make it harder.

It is true that they dont play much D at all but I feel like the scoring would far outweigh the terrible D. If somehow Jimmer is able to fall all the way to 15, I would take him since he is able to create his own shot but could also run an offense when needed (years prior to this past season)

I think if Klay Thompson is there for you guys he is a must take because he would give you guys another shooter which seems like it wouldn't hurt. Also, he is the second coming of Reggie Miller and you guys had the worst attendance numbers last year. I think a player that reminded people of the old days would bring them back and also he fits a need for you guys.

The only thing that brings people to the games here is winning, or the Heat and Lakers.

Very true. I feel like the group now is a young team that will be good possibly this year but very soon. Another big man wouldnt be the worst idea since Foster isnt getting any younger and hibbert still cant play a lot of minutes. I will admit that the physical turnaround of Hibbert was a very nice surprise last year. If we could get another big man out of the draft that could give us minutes and be an animal on the boards while still being able to score (Noah type guy) then I think it would be the best.

Morway is on 1070 and pretty much said they'd acquire a second pick in the second round. I was hoping for something higher but I don't mind a high second. Tyler is my guy although the Purdue guys and Mack would be great too as would Cole from the Horizon League.

I'm not really a huge fan of Jajuan Johnson. Seems too soft for me. I'm liking the Norris Cole idea though
