Re: Layoffs
Where did you hear this? I searched "Indiana Pacers layoffs" on Google and the only things I got were articles from a couple weeks ago which praised the Pacers for managing to avoid layoffs to this point.
Hopefully the Pacers can keep doing right by their people.

He might've just gotten fired and is now posting in his free time.

Not quit, I don’t work in that field, I work in Computers..Let’s just say I have an "Inside Source" I am sure they are not going to publicize it, since last month’s article about avoiding layoffs and now they did layoff internal people...

well, it is true.
Scouts Brian Winters, Leonard Perry and Joe Ash were the casualties.

Re: Layoffs
Yup... Like i said...
I cant believe they let Joe Ash go...He is one of the best scouts in the Industry, he scouted some pretty big names in his carear..I can only hope he lands with another club and brings more talent to the game... owners and Gm's dont get the talent that some of these scouts have, they scout, they find that next "big thing" these Owners and gm's arent on the road with these guys, they know the talent they see them play for High school up into college to pro ball.. the scouts are the true talent..takes talent to find talent... too upset at this situation.. i hope all three guys find a better opportunity..
Something else that really irks me, is this outrages salary these players receive...10, 20, 30 -60 million come on is this really necessary? Doctors who have to dedicate over 18 years of Medical training don’t even make this much and they save lives..No wonder why the owners are in trouble..here’s a clue.. salary cap.. Ok so the guy is a really great player, he can shoot from the 3 pointer and hit 100% all the time, he can guard, he can run, he can do it all ok then pay him like 10 million...i am tired of hearing these whining little boys cry poverty..Millions of Americans have no jobs, lost their jobs, have no Health insurance, and are losing their homes..hey Mr. big basketball player how about you giving a handout to those people who can use it and stop your crying..you only made 80 million last year.....Wahhhhhh.......let me cry for you.....
ok let the flaming begin...
