Lockout question

I havn't been keeping up with this lockout as much as i should be, maybe because i did with the NHL few years ago and NFL few months ago that it just drained me from caring about the politics of the sport, so this question may be easy, but idk... if there is NO nba season at all, how is the NBA draft order determined?

Same as last year or will there be a lottery?

Anyone know?

That's actually a really good question. I'm going to say we don't have to worry about it because there will be a season.

So who's picking first, the Cavs or the Clippers?

If there's no season, it would be cool to just have a lottery with every team. Any team picking 11-30 would be pissed I'm sure but it would all be chance

I think they haven't quite figured that out yet, and it's going to be something the league decides as the college season goes on, if the NBA season won't.

Ric Bucher reported this tonight:

RicBucher Ric Bucher
Likeliest NBA draft order formula if no season: 3 seasons aggregated for order, then lottery for worst 14. Slightly weighted in other ways.

We'd have a top 10 pick i'm sure.
